Incredible! I'm blown away by the AI of opponents here too, but I did manage to beat the game at the end eventually! At first glance the bidding is completely fair. I guess the programmed opponent can place more precise bids, but really it only makes it more interesting. I was genuinely proud of completing it!

Hello! This game has an incredible style, really looks professionally done, I love how it looks! Also the idea to have a countdown for the bids is pretty clever and intuitive. The gameplay to buy the veggies for the fight is not easy at all!
I got very unlucky with the battles, it seems like I can barely win one even when we have the same anount of veggies. I suppose to make to the end you have to memorize the medium price for veggies and beat your opponent to it? I feel like I was missing something. That's unfortunate because the game feels super charming to play.
Here's the VOD (game is at 1:30:00)
Beautiful page, Beautiful art, Super fun gameplay both in the auction and battle phase. Theme is kinda horrifying if you think about it. But dont because this game is awesome!
Original and creative, will be back to play after the jam is over; need to figure out the AI behind the buying and try t o figure out the best composition of teams!
Love the presentation of this game, wow! Impressive for a jam, everything had so much life. I got my butt whooped several times on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
Soooo original and such a clever idea, really enjoyed it! I did find myself bidding at the same time as my opponent a lot of times, and found it a bit frustrating. Maybe the bidding action can be done on click pressed? (as opposed to on click released, i.e. a full click, which I think is the case?). In any case, excellent job!
This is such a clever game with amazing art and sound, you all did such a good job! I'm particularly impressed by the AI for the auction system.
Amazing game! Amazing art, sounds and idea!
I feel like the auction was quite long compared to the actual fight, but it was a lot of fun!
I feel like if you bid above just above 150 each time you'll pretty much always end up with 6 veggies and win the game. But I'm aware that balancing for this is not easily done, especially for such a short game jam.
So, well done to you, you made an amazing game! Keep it up. :D
Sick game! The concept is great and fits the theme. I feel like this has incredible PvP potential! Sometimes the bot feels a bit... predictable maybe? I would really have loved a bit more control over the brawl, like changing their positions and setting up formations to add a bit of strategy. Anyway, great game!
Great job, the graphics are awesome and the concept is crazy! I really liked it
SUCH A GEM, i loved it so much, the stress of buying the vegetables is insane, i lost so many times it's so stressfuuull hahaha, greeat art too it's really really polished and i love the old man's voice, everything is soo cute
