I like the execution of this game, though, I wish there was a little more punishment for the build phase as I found myself self-destructing to place a few parts as the 10 seconds is a very short amount of time! Good work!

Really struggled to enjoy this one unfortunately as the concept is clever.
Backtracking in games needs to be designed well or at least fun and faster to do using something like shortcuts but walking between areas was a slog. With no explanation, I wasn't sure if I was meant to workout puzzles or unlock them later which I eventually started to do, the pallet swap was unique and matched what I was hoping for from the game but I think it could have been utilised to craft harder puzzles and unlocking the rope mechanic felt lackluster as I'd wanted that from the start so saw it coming, my reaction was "Finally." rather than excitement for a new mechanic.
I can't say I was able to beat the boss fight, starting down the tunnel and having to walk the way back up slowly every time I grazed the box, which moved seemingly unpredictably (obviously connected to the colours but hard to track), was frustrating and ultimately led me to calling it quits without figuring out the boss fights puzzle.
Like others, I fail to see any connection to the theme as you don't "count down" colours...
With some more feedback for the player, less back-tracking and maybe even just a sprint button, I can see this game being a lot more fun.
I did play a small section of this during a late night stream but was too tired to solve puzzles so returned today to play again and write the feedback. I hope you can take this constructively as I do really like the concept just think it misses a few notes. It did look nice, especially the shadow following the player, and seemed well put together considering it is a jam game.
Oh I hate you. 5 stars. Played on stream and will return off stream! https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
The animations and art for this are very impressive! I just wish the game had a bit more weight and depth to it. The narrative direction was also a fun take! I played this on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
Amazing story, played the whole thing when I meant to stay 5 minutes. Would like to see the art and gameplay expanded but I appreciate that was not the focus! Streamed the game here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
Other than some minor tweaks to the tutorial and pausing the shooting when in the build phase, this is a VERY solid entry and impressive for the time limit! I played this on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
Wow, just wow. Really impressed especially as you are recent graduates! Amazing work all, this could go straight onto Steam, no notes! Played this on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
Wow the animations in this are amazing! You have a very good base for a game, definitely expand this after the jam! Played this on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
The vision for this game is really good! I think it really needs improvement in clarity for what the player has to do and how long is left. Keep working on it and you have yourself a good game. Good work! I played this on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
Wow. Had to brush off the dust from my Japanese knowledge to count down! Had a really fun time playing this on stream! https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
Love the presentation of this game, wow! Impressive for a jam, everything had so much life. I got my butt whooped several times on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
I enjoy finding games that interpret the count as in vampire! This is a really good entry for a turn based tactics game, just wish I was better at it! Played it on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
I really like the concept and integration of the theme. Given more time in the oven, I would like to just see the models + textures improved. Other than that, I really enjoyed! Played this on stream: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
This is a very enjoyable game with really fluid controls! I just wish there was more! I played this on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
Really solid game! I played it on stream and struggled to understand if I was doing the right thing but got a good sense for the quality of the game. Came back with a few less eyes on me and figured out once the vehicles were at the locations that they were processing the task, maybe that progress could be shown a bit clearer and I think I missed where the roads going red was mentioned. Other than that, really enjoyed the game and its presentation, sound and art worked really well together and making such a unique typing game during a jam is no easy task. Good work!

Thanks for the feedback! You were correct that going in blind was my intention, the levels only slightly iterate, designed for the player to repeat what they did last level before finding out what is different and then also allow me to mix it up a bit to surprise them with new layouts. Revealing the levels before each run would ruin the surprise but a lot of people have suggested it so I am thinking of ways to compromise! I do also plan on adding music but as the metronome was 60bpm it was hard to find music with a similar vibe at 60 or 120 bpm.
Thanks again for playing!
This game took me back to being a kid playing arcade games but I feel like it had a few issues holding it back. Enemies would often spawn on-top of each other and the art style clashed quite a bit with itself. I also wish I could reload manually when there is some downtime instead of wasting/having to use up the rest of the chamber. Still a good effort for the jam! I played this on stream here, though I think the stream dipped so may be broken into two sections: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
I was hoping for more engagement as the game went on but at no point did it present any challenges to overcome. There was no punishment for only gathering a couple of honey each day other than just having to press next day every few seconds. I also think the art in general could have been a bit more cohesive, I am unsure why the tutorial had different font to in-game and the menus were high-res vs the rest of the pixel art. I played this on stream and gave my thoughts there: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
A very strong submission to the jam. Finally got around to playing this on stream and glad I did, though spamming z really cramped my handed, would appreciate some rebind options. Great game otherwise, goodluck! https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
I am not a fan of the fact you borrowed Mind Over Magnet's setting and look. The ideas behind the mechanics were strong but at no point did I feel challenge to solve a puzzle. Believe in yourself to make your own universe for your games to belong in! I played this on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
I really wanted to like this game but couldn't wrap my head around the controls for attack vs jump vs dash. I would love to remap them if I could. From what I quickly played on stream, it was very good! https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive I liked the art, concept and polish, well done!
Unfortunately, I can only describe this game as feeling a bit disconnected. I do not feel the narrative matched the gameplay, a lot of the art was disconnected and I think the link to the theme could be stronger. However, it did seem well made programming wise and I am impressed you got so many minigames working for a jam. Good work! I played this on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterliv
I like the concept but the player feedback could do with being improved a lot. I was never sure what card I had selected, what options I had for that card and wasn't always confident my inputs were doing anything. Sound and some highlights would go a long way to improve this. Good work submitting a game to the jam! I played this on stream and gave feedback here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
Wow, an amazing submission to the jam. One of my favourites and I will definitely be back to play more as I only briefly played it on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive no notes but will hold back from a perfect rating until I play more. Amazing work!
I liked the art style, everything looked hand made! I would have liked to have seen a deeper interpretation of the theme to really add to the typing game genre. Good work! Played this on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
I am impressed you made a multiplayer game during a jam, well done! Not quite a game for me but I gave it a quick go on stream to get the vibe to make a rating. https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive Good job on the game!
Really good game idea and use of the theme! Would love to see where this game goes in the future! I played this on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
I really enjoyed the concept! I would appreciate some more player feedback for actions like jumping, a sound or particle effect goes a long way. I also think some colour would make this game stand out even more. Good work as I had fun even though I kept dying to those spinning enemies! I played this on stream: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive
I would LOVE to see this made into a full game with multiplayer! Interesting take on Overcooked like games! I played this on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive Well done!
