AMAZING GAME!! I love the dithering on the 3D graphics style, it's super clean. I had a blast playing once i got the feel for the car, veryyy buttery smooth drifting once you lock in

because it took me a minute to get used to the car handling, it felt bad when i lost the first race because it was 8 whole laps to re-do!!! maybe 3 laps for a tutorial so if i am too slow at least it's short

but then 2nd attempt it was so fun going max speed!! The controls are really nicely dialed in, and a great sense of speed. I loved how easy it was to turn going fast. I was enjoying everything about it but playing multiple levels revealed upgrades didn't feel too impactful since i was so rich, and only had the choice to repair/coffee so it was obvious to spend it every time, unless i missed something in the repair shop. So I didn't feel compelled by completing races since I didn't feel like my car was progressing or upgrading. If i was slowly adding acceleration each round i might have wanted to play longer!

I also really liked the sleep mechanic and it was kind of terrifying!!! (Like IRL sleepy driving). One suggestion to make it a bit more fun might be to leave the compass visible on screen only, so you're still driving blind but aren't completely removed from the game cus it was a bit disorienting when the UI disappeared, while i liked the idea of the mechanic it felt slightly unfair. Really liked the sleepy blur effect! Amazing work!!

Wow, thank you for the detailed review, I appreciate it because it will give me solid input to improve in the future. Honestly I felt the progression feeling of the game a bit empty as well, I thought about adding more mechanics to make the shop more impactful, but I preferred to let it be instead and completing the core game loop. So as I empathize with this, I will add more relevance to the economy part of the game. I love the fact people loved the blur effect because I discovered it by accident while I as playing with the dithering matrix values haha, a lucky discovery I have to say xD Thank you for playing the game :)
