Really amazing entry. Before I gush over it though: one thing stopped me from enjoying it to it's max potential. The colored stripes on the ground- their colors are so different that in the far distance it gives this trippy pixel-grain effect that keeps shifting around. what's worse is that it makes objects difficult to recognize. If you wanted to quick-fix it, probably just change the colors to be more similar. or palette swap/tile swap those distant tiles to be more similar in color.

Now that that's out of the way, I have to say, this game throttles me back to my childhood. The one that I didn't have, actually, where my parents let me play video games for hours after dark on my cool, childhood game console. I love the music, and the colors. They mix together with the in-game assets sweetly, like apples and caramel. Overall, it makes for a really compelling experience, akin to a micro console racing game. Even the concept of looping is somewhat ingenious, both technically, and in execution.

I wish that there were more levels! Good luck in the jam.
