I downloaded this game just for solo dubbing, as did many people I assume. I only say this because I don't know if the same issue occurs during voiceline prompts / game show matches, so I can only share the technical issues I've been experiencing with the dub mode in that regard.

The constant crashing of this game makes the Dub mode completely unplayable. I am not exaggerating on this note.

Consistently, I've been able to witness the game crash when I reach near the half-way point of any decently long dub. The crash presents itself in the form of "The program is not responding". Trying to wait for the program to respond achieves nothing, something evidently blocks up and prevents the app from working, prompting you to have to reload it.

The issue at hand is the following : it is effectively impossible to complete a solo dub session. No matter how fast or slow you try to go through it, it will crash (I have tried both methods)

The worst part is, given that there are no save states, your progress winds up lost. You have effectively wasted usually 10 minutes of your time.

If you are experiencing this same issue, it would be nice if you could corroborate your experience in this same thread. I'm unsure of if the dev is aware of this, but it would be a good idea to shine more light on the matter. I've seen some other posts on the matter, so I know i'm not alone in this.

Wait until there is any form of patch or planned update announced recognizing this issue by the dev. Until then, you will only meet frustration as your game crashes after 25 voice lines.

This is a shame because every other aspect of the interface is wonderful and works perfectly fine.

As a note to the dev, if there was ever any doubt - the recent 5.2 dev mic build has the same issue

I'm also experiencing this issue, nearly every time. I wasn't sure if it was just my computer, but from this, it sounds like that's not the issue. It would be better if there was some sort of built in save function so you can save your progress as you record your lines. I was almost 10-20 minutes into a recording and lost all of it because of this issue. Super frustrating!

However, I love this concept for a game and I have a lot of fun doing funny voices, so I'm excited to see where this goes, since it's still in testing!

I love the game but I have the same issue and it's very frustrating! It only happens on specific videos though.

Still no fix up to this day. Very frustrating, and disappointing to have this happen to you on your 119th voice line from the 125…..

Its also frequently is happening in other dub sessions which are not nearly as long as 125 voice lines. Have been experiencing it with sessions where I only have 50 - 80 voice lines. 


I have a feeling that it has to do with the mod (scene) you download and use, but why would they work perfectly fine for the first 118 and then randomly crash in the middle of the 119th one.

I do want to note that I have done several other scenes with no issues whatsoever, and some of them were around 80/90 voice lines.

So just as Silyzam said (other user which has the same issue too) I dont think it has anything to do with the length or speed you go at.

Still, very strange and frustrating, looking forward to seeing a reply or fix from the dev (team).

I've been trying to do The Walten Files ad videos and some of them are just too long that they crash before I can finish which is sad cause they are so fun to do. Same thing with the GTA scene when Trevor comes into Michael's house. I really hope we get an update about this.

yeah this is really annoying, which sucks because this game is super fun, but i cant do any long runs because it just crashes

Im so tired of this crap

unplayable with the new version. 

I really hope they fix it soon. Was just rushing through a dub with 80 lines to hopefully finish it before it crashed and just to spite me it crashed right before I clicked next after recording the last line. It's completely unplayable right now, crashes even on the shortest dubs I can find. Even if they can't fix the crash itself right away, a save feature so that you don't lose progress on crashes would go a long way.

my game crashed for a dub with like 16 lines

this happens to me too, and some of my watches are completely unplayable due to the lag. the compatibility version doesnt help

I was about to go crazy, i  was more than halfway through my scene and the app CRASHEEEEEDDDD

i cant get anything done i cant even change settings without it crashing, im in 5.1 and it says theres 5.2 but i can find the download for it

yes me too ive only managed to do 1 dub and it was hell trying to record another. havent been able to do another dub since due to constant crashing or hardcore lag
