I didn't want to help the cube because it was so mean to me lol! But I persevered... I'm a little biased because I love gameboy, but the music and graphics really charmed me, and the platforming felt pretty good. :)

It's really cool to see other Game Boy games in the jam!  For a first game, the platforming feels really good; there are lots of little things that are easy to get wrong on a first attempt at this kind of movement, so kudos on making the movement feel good!  The graphics were also really solid; great work!  The music got a little bit repetitive, so a longer loop might have been nice; and some sound effects when jumping/pushing would also have added to the experience a bit.  

Short but sweet, and I had fun working through the levels (the one with the block hanging off the edge was devious!).  Really nice job, and I hope we see more games from you in the future :)

I love the graphics, I was just a bit confused about the controls. You might want to include them on the game page so players don't have to figure them out through trial and error. Over all this visually looks great as a first game, an achievement to be sure.
