Shoot, I left the "Jump to Label" in for a patch. Let me get that real quick.
EDIT: Got it, should be working now.
Thanks! Will try again after lunch!
EDIT: And it worked! Mmm. The quest name makes a ton of sense now! … And I guess the Tengu Togs are a Aya Shameimaru ref. Wind Manipulator. mmm.
That’s a great icon for the game! Brill at a computer! Cute!
Gambit’s tough. Took ~30 min for one then got beat by the second. Glad I keep the loot. Ugh. Catalysts… That they’re not removed by being used, unlike my Catalytic Trigger, makes this battle sooo much harder. … And I guess the Burst always happens after half HP. dang. hmmm. And can’t get the blocker instead.
And issues below…
Probably Sample shouldn’t be talking to the Caretaker in that room? Good thing I sample everywhere like a madman! Haha! … Ah, and two I can talk to for info, while the Caretaker for the rest. mmm.
…
Heh, got my easts and wests mixed up! Still, found something. Sorry!

“An Offer He Can’t Refuse” is slightly too long. Maybe drop the “An”. eh. This is so sweet!
Never realized I couldn’t Sample in the Castle Town Overworld tiles. interesting!
Remind me how War Shield Bash works? It seems like it deals damage then lower the foe’s Block? Which isn’t great, because it’s not as good as the other way around. But if it’s supposed to be that way, it’s fine, I’ll just do other quests in the meantime.
And War Shield Bash seems to be giving some shield Icon with a 1, which seems to be the Hasty Hat’s “Speed Up While Blocking”, to the enemy? I hope it’s not actually doing so, but the icon’s there…
Good catch, the tag that's used for on-block effects snuck onto the move. I've already gotten rid of it on my end.
I'll fix up that and the other issues real quick. The catalysts aren't supposed to stick around; I went for an offensive approach in testing, so I must've beaten the Chess Golems too quickly to notice. (Their weaknesses actually open them up to quite a few different approaches!) The Protect Cape text and Sample talking to the Caretaker will also be fixed.
The Tengu's Turbo Togs are indeed a Touhou reference. Funny enough, though, I haven't actually played a Touhou game, I've just played Touhou Puppet Dance Performance and the Gensokyo mod in Terraria.
EDIT: Oh, right, the other question! War Shield Bash does deal damage first, like other attacks that lower block.
