I thought the mining area was discovered from the cliff area? I cant seem to get it to pop up for me. I have up to the field and vendor discovered but not the mountain.
As it is indicated in the changelog, the Cliff Top was moved to further ahead, so now you have to discover the new access trough the Field area :).
