A really novel and meta concept that utilizes the layers theme really well! It is very tricky and the player controls feel just a little too punishing, but the overall experience is great. There's some awkward timing things when you die and transition between levels.
Hard but fun! The story was really cute, now I feel bad for all my unfinished projects :(
Really nice idea. I had trouble mastering the jump, but I really loved the layers and the control we have on them. Super cute mini game !
The idea of having layers of blocks it´s pretty cool, but the player´s jump is a bit short, it would be better if you could jump a bit higher, i was not able to beat the first level.
Interesting concept, but it's brutal to be able to die on the first screen of the first level of the game. Definitely needs a bit more ramp to the intro, especially when the first enemy you encounter can just bull doze you too and kill you. I was hoping they'd fall to his doom like I did if I pulled the floor out from under them.
I wonder if I'd do any better if I had three separate keys away from my movement keys that let me just pick the specific layer I wanted to have on.
A cool concept that reminds me a lot of games like Crush for the PSP, with the multiple layer-swapping as a puzzle solving mechanic - though as others have said, the controls take a bit of getting used to!
The core idea is a really cool one, and having the tilemap theme as being part of the aesthetic and story was a cool concept - with a bit of an easier learning curve and some polish, I could see this doing really well as a cute little puzzle game!
Really cool concept! I just find that the controls feel kind of off and some of the ennemies are kind of annoyind but apart of that, great job!
interesting concept though i have a really hard time getting used to the controls haha! the lore of a game trying to fix itself is sweet :) not sure i see the connection with girliness but it's pretty nifty nonetheless
Interesting story and concept.
Is this game still bugged? I found some, especially with the health going straight to 0 and the player sprite getting negative numbers on the UI, but I had a lot of fun playing it. Great job!
I accidentally started on level 5 and couldn't figure out how to go back. And then it seemed like all the layers were solid at once for some reason. And then i got stuck on a black screen. Sorry I broke your game. Seemed really cool otherwise tho!
I did the same, I didn't realize the screen was a level select I had to click on as the control were given as keys. I refreshed the game, but then needed a key to skip the intro...
