I'm tired. I used AI to assist in coding, but this game just wasn't really fun to work on. I'm going back to making normal games after this.

Nice game! I was a bit confused since it doesn't really follow the theme, my guess is that the puppets are the stars of the show and you, the audience, are gazing upon them and watching the show hence the theme stargazing. If so that is a very interesting take on the theme, I also liked the concept of making your own show as well as being able to create or use character art to make your own puppet and story. Cool game!
Cool, very unique concept. Some parts were a little confusing and for some reason I only had the option for Cat dialog and nothing for Jeff the sock (was there none for him?). Quite a few funny dialog lines and fun to goof around with. It could be really good with some polish, though it sounds like you did not enjoy development much and moved on from it.
The idea is good, but I didn’t really see the connection to the theme. Also, the sound could be improved :) It feels a bit robotic. Maybe try adding more natural-sounding audio later , I think that would make the game much better.

🧦⭐ The puppet idea is pretty creative, and the art/style is definitely fun!
But honestly, I don't really see STARGAZING in the actual gameplay. 😅 The game feels more like a puppet show/creative sandbox, while the star connection feels added mainly through the name and explanation.
The puppet visuals and presentation are the strongest part for me, and the voice/acts are a fun touch. But for your next jam, I'd definitely recommend making the theme part of the core gameplay, rather than trying to connect an existing idea to the theme afterward.
