Nice precision platformer! :)

Things I loved:

  • Gameplay was fairly tight, with very well thought out level design!
  • Random modifier made each run slightly different, which is good when you're restarting all the time
  • It was cool to see an intro animation! I don't think I've seen a jam submission do that before :O

Things I'd love to see:

  • A background music track would fill the space well, and stop the sfx coming in so sharp
  • Checkpointing might be good - it was pretty brutal to hit the upper level and then start all the way back! But that would conflict with the random modifiers (since you could essentially "reroll" at each checkpoint) which would then require a life system to balance it out, which is then getting pretty off track lol

Thank you

I think the theme and the game's overall aesthetic were very good. I have a couple notes: the game seems much too zoomed out, so much so that its difficult (for me at least) to tell what I'm doing. Also, some levels seem impossible without the small planet modifier, or maybe I'm just not good enough. The random modifiers are a really cool idea, but they conflict pretty badly with the 'precision' element of a precision platformer, since it becomes impossible to design a level around a specific move set.

Thanks, i will try to fix these problems after the game jam. Also i did try to make sure every level is possible with every modifier
