I had no clue what was going on I had a inventory full of car keys and a bunch of dialogue splattered overlaying ontop of my screen. The art is nice though!

Very cute world/setting concept! I liked the design of the main character. Got stuck a few times due to glicthes, but that sort of stuff happens with a small window of time. Excited to see where this goes if you guys continue to develop it!

Very unfortunate state of the game,I could see there was passion in everything but the sound for dialogue is so quick and odd it is very displeasing to listen to.

Character design is very cool and background design as well, with a little bit more polish can look much better too(shadow and contrast). The inventory can block dialogue and I go 2 car keys instead of 1 and the carkeys object was still on the bush. Due to the game being incomplete of course, I didn't understand how the theme fit, I think this should be a lesson to scope less and work on quality rather than quantity.

Another recommendation I'd make is to not have the characters just aligned like they are not part of the world, good way to do this it to make them do something with the environment or make them positioned between crowds or in such a way that it doesn't feeel like they exist just for the player.

Dialogue could use a lot more  personality, I did like how the game is about building up confidence and I  just gotta say the main character probably has the best design.

If you  guys give it another shot to finish it and have it polished, please do because I can easily seeing something like this be very cool. It has a lot of potential but the execution was just not up there

thank you, your advice is really appreciated! we definitely learned a lot about scoping and will keep that in mind in the future! and thanks for playing our game, despite its unfinished state! im gonna be honest, we threw the scenes together in a rush to finish. wasn't even sure if the exported version would work but it's a miracle that it did lol.

but yeah, most likely we're going to polish the game from the branch before we rushed (after the voting period is over).

The game do not revolve around the theme. Also only the sound track and art is good. I know a lot of passion went in but you all did very less in refining the experience and yes the game feels incomplete. Next time do work on other departments rather than only art.

Developer(+1)

thank you for your feedback, but i do need to clarify some misconceptions.

the game did revolve around the theme and we focused on all of the departments too. everyone worked really hard on their individual departments. systems (story, game design, dialogue, inventory, etc) were created and ready to link together and would have if not for last-minute merge conflicts forcing us to only push one branch with small modifications.

the game doesn't just feel incomplete, it is incomplete. and we plan to finish it with all the assets it should've had when voting is over.

Got it man, I know it's hard especially because of the time contraints. Keep going and improving
