What a fun adventure! And yes, I really enjoyed the music!

What a great game! I really like how it tells a story through a new mechanic involving the metronome and music; it’s been one of the games I’ve enjoyed the most! If you want to try my game too—I put a lot of effort into it, but I hardly have any ratings ;(

Super cool game! I gave more specific feedback on your page, but overall, really cool. I'd suggest anyone else in the jam go give it a play and a rating!

This was a fun experience. It's small enough to play through twice to see both actions. I think the choices were interesting and well adjusted to the scope. A unique game, thank you!

Really like the choosing with a metronome, makes the choice somehow even more fun. I really do enjoy the music, it's very nice! My only small complaint, I sadly couldn't completely read what the fox says before the riddle because it moved on so fast.

Good game and story!

I didn't expect a VN in such a short jam!! Using the metronome to make choices feels really unique, and I didn't expect there to be so many options either. The visuals are beautiful, the music is great, and I really love the atmosphere this game creates.

This is such a wonderful little experience. I absolutely love it! Maybe making the cover art a bit more eye-catching could help more people click on it, because this game deserves more attention. 5/5!!

Thanks so much, that's all so kind! I submitted with just under 3 minutes left, so the cover art had to kinda get slapped together...

Hi. I'm from the same team as amused-robotics. First off, the sound design is by far the strongest part of this game. Very distinct sense of tempo and motif. I love how the metronome keeps up with the song. The art and writing has charm to. And your right. The game is simple mechanically. As for accessibility and being simple to be understood and play on the go... Uh.. okay. So for starters, I think it be good to have a controls tutorial blorb on the page. It doesn't need to be anything big. Just a simple explanation. Because it took me a second to realize the game gives you a option between using a mouse or keyboard and then... I think you have to push the button when the metronome reaches a option multiple times. That wasn't clear to me. Wasn't sure if I had to time and click when the metronome is pointing once... Or if I had to do it multiple times to convince the kid to follow. One one hand, this leads to a personalized experience for a first time player. I like that! But on repeat playthroughs, once I figure out what to do,and played the game a few more times to see the options, the magic kinda fades. I will say I kinda wish there was more consequences if the kid decides to self isolate themself. Or at least a good and bad ending. Since the theme is being able to break out of your shell and make connections. I kinda wanna see that expanded on! I be curious to see what is left on the cutting room floor! I could to see a potential future patch a little more content and polish!

So in summary, I think a more clear tutorial is nessasary to avoid confusion. Other then that... The game is fine as is. Sure it be nice to have consequences, since it feels like the player barely has a influence other then some charming scenes.. as in the game can practically finish itself with barely any input, but honestly... I can see this idea be expanded to a interactive visual novel! This game's biggest strength is the audio design and the writing. I was drawn in by those two things alone. This game is oozing with charm. And I see potential for a more fleshed out and potentially profitable game in here. Welp, best of luck on your game career and I appreciate the diligence to rate as many games as possible. I rarely seen people have the time to rate so many games. It's respectable!

Pretty amazing!  Love the combination of music with gameplay.

I really like the presentation of the whole game, revolving around the idea of a Metronome. I'm not sure whether my choices have an impact on the story but the core idea is really cool!
