I liked the difficulty level and that I was able to keep everything in my head and make a plan before making any swaps. If it were any harder I probably would want a game mechanism to help me reduce the search space.

I like the art style and sound as well!

I like the idea. I have a terrible memory, and this game really forced me to think hard about the order in which I had to make the swaps, but what is it doing with that mouth/tail?

The character is based on Bocchi the Rock and that wiggly bit is her hair.

This was a fun little game that I think worked really well. Going around the different stalls and remembers what’s available to plan out how to get items you need makes for a great puzzle. I think having the stalls in some kind of location with landmarks or streets would let me more easily create a mental map of the place. The art is great and really clear on the PlayDate screen which makes clocking the trade options really fast. The music too was a great fit. Well done on a great entry!

Thanks for the feedback!  I am working on making the trading places easier to find (after I fix the hint system).

I have never seen a swap quest allow you to undo trades and that alone makes for an interesting gameplay hook. You truly have the freedom to create a unique loadout thanks to the abundance of coin trades and the map is filled with valid solution paths. While I felt overwhelmed by the amount of options, it did make exploring feel rewarding.

There's fun to be had but without better indicators for navigating the map it is difficult to enjoy wandering aimlessly. I appreciate the inclusion of hint mode (via pause menu) but it doesn't improve player agency which is my main gripe.

Thanks for the feedback!  I have some ideas on making the offscreen trades more easy to find, I will try to get those in the full version.

The hint mode is a bit broken, it's also something I wanted to fix for the full version (I added it in a short time to verify that the generated maps are solvable, but I wanted to make it more general to get players unstuck).
