I like the concept of this a lot and it looks and feels pretty polished. I noticed however, that the portals don't always work as they should. On my first try the gnome couldn't enter the necessary portal in level 4. Had to restart the game for it to work. (Maybe the collisions are a bit wonky?) 
Still, apart from that, really nicely done! ^^

On the third level, the start button wouldn't work for me, and I’m wondering why I can place mushrooms right into the tree—or is that intentional? Still, I liked the game; it’s relaxing.
