yes it can squeeze out of some crazy places!
I sometimes make things this simple when AI credits run low and i want to be in a jam (I just say as a negative against myself for pushing too big-scope most of the time, that actually a bunch of my better games resembline this one because they thrive on limits).
So 1/5 of my things, are like this so i grok with it, secondly because I grew up with the first generation arcade games in 70's and 80's.
Excellent minimalist approach, it's funny to note i didnt -notice- it was constant velocity till the 2nd or 3rd run because i took for granted struggling with horizontal speed up slow down (which isn't actually there).
Anyway thought it was awesome, gave it high marks.
Consider doing the same if you like the thing(s) on my other pages.
