Hey, good job for finishing the game! If you did one thing right that is managing scope, it is rather difficult to settle with a simple idea, so kudos to you for that. I liked the art in this game, it was simple, but conveyed everything perfectly, so along with the simple idea and a well designed first level, it taught me the mechanics perfectly.
However, I have a multitudes of problems with this game. Firstly this is a nitpick, but I was glad that I could play this in the browser, but then the page shows that you haven't uploaded an html file and I have to download an exe file. It isn't a hassle, but I feel like you should change it such that people aren't misled.
This may sound harsh, but I feel like the game mechanics aren't interesting enough to warrant this many levels. As the worms either spawn randomly, or programmed in a way that doesn't indicate intentional game design, it doesn't feel like a puzzle game, but a skill based game. However because of this, the gameplay doesn't actually changes with the level design. You get the scraps, dodge the worms, and feed the scraps. Nothing new gets introduced, so it doesn't feel like I'm playing different levels. More interesting levels could exist later, but I don't think you have playtested it, as in this level it is literally impossible to get through. I know how to spam keys, if there is a way to get through, it is well above the skill that is expected from jam players in my opinion.
It is nice that you implemented music, I don't want this to sound discouraging, I think it's amazing that you put time into it and I want you to continue putting time into music, but it was kind of annoying, and by the second level, I just wished it wasn't there. It isn't bad, I fits the vibe of this lowrez game. I think the melody is actually good, but by itself it gets old way too fast. You should really cut the highs, as the high as it is too present for players to be able to get used to it. An introduction of more accompanying layers and maybe percussion would've given this a vibe that allows it to blend into the background more. Without that, it just feels like there is this constant tension that doesn't get resolved, which would work well with a psychological horror game, but not well with this kind of game. Also the looping, the little silence at the end always brings attention back to the music.
Sorry if this was too harsh, I think this is a perfectly fine game for a jam. I tried to make it more constructive, I hope you could get some useful information out of it, and don't stop making games!
