You cannot go simpler than this in graphic style and still get that much character! The animation approach for the player is pure genius. Fantastic job—just a shame you had to leave the room names out of the resolution restriction! :P

This caught me very pleasantly by surprise.  It's just straight up fun and really works with the LowRez theme.

Cool game, I like the music and the visuals.

A really cool game. The music gives off an eerie feeling and the room names made me chuckle.

Couldn't figure out how to beat that pesky brown fella, otherwise everything was communicated well via the visuals.

I'm a big fan of the visual style and the in-engine audio. A nicely restrained and solid gameplay experience, though sometimes incurring frustration when needing to restart from a checkpoint. Nice progression to the puzzles, action, and ideas. The high resolution room names is the only flaw in what is otherwise a standout usage of the central 64x64 limitation.

The sparse graphics and simple audio reminded me of old Atari VCS games. The three-pixel main character works surprisingly well, as does the trail of footprints you leave behind as you walk. The puzzles get more challenging as the game progresses, and I enjoyed exploring the environment. A bit more variety in the scenery would be nice.

Unfortunately the game displays room names in high resolution, not within the 64x64 pixels constraint of the jam, and so will lose some marks in the Authenticity rating.

But that aside, I really enjoyed playing this. Nice one!
