Why do people bother to enter it? If you didn't code it then you didn't make it. Go post your claude plagarism on your own page and keave jams to people actually doing the work.
I am not entirely against AI, but I believe you should declare which parts of the game you use it for. In a three-hour game jam, it is very tight to get a good, working game done from scratch. What I am against is submissions that are completely AI-generated, often prebuilt, and sometimes don't even bother to adjust to the theme. I dislike these types of games. On occasion, I have reported them, but it gets tiresome after a while.
Also, what is the difference between using AI-generated assets and downloading an asset pack? In both cases, the developer has not made the assets they have used.
I personally avoid AI-generated assets, sounds, and music, but it is getting harder to be certain whether they are. Even Pixabay, where I get music, is meant to be marked as either authentic or AI-generated. I strongly suspect half the authentic music is actually AI-generated.
