Gameplay 3/5 - Nice little shooter game!  It could use some variety in the enemies, even something minor like ones with less health and more speed or vice versa.  Maybe a big boss every once in a while?  But the moving and shooting felt really good.

Creativity 3/5 - Separating the sky watching, the map, and the combat  was a good idea to break up the repetition a bit, and throwing in the shop occasionally made it feel like you never know what's coming next.  The shop creature was a really creepy but cool addition!

Art Style 3/5 - I like the  aesthetic here, it has a lot of personality.  And again, the thing in the shop!

Audio 4/5 - The music was really nice!  The sound effects worked well too.

Theme 4/5 - Watching the enemies come down from the sky is a fun take on the theme.

Good game! I really enjoyed playing it. The art is good, and the idea fits the theme really well , itโ€™s awesome!

One thing I would suggest is adding more weapons, like grenades or something similar. That could make the gameplay even more fun and varied.

But overall, the game is really good. I enjoyed playing it!

๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŽฎ Good game! This one has a really fun action loop.

I liked the idea of watching the stars fall, finding where they land, and then fighting the invaders. The enemy movement also keeps things unpredictable, and the animations + pixel art give the game a lot of charm. ๐Ÿ‘€

One thing Iโ€™d improve is enemy variety and visual clarity. Different enemy types, colors, and attack patterns would make the invasion feel more exciting and help enemies stand out from the forest. ๐ŸŒฒโš”๏ธ

And honestly, co-op would be AMAZING for this kind of game if you ever continue it! ๐Ÿ˜„

Big respect for making this as a team, especially with kids designing the game and creating the art for their first jam. Thatโ€™s seriously awesome. โค๏ธ

Congratulations on your jam submission and great work! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ”ฅ

If you have some time, please try my game too and leave me a review! Iโ€™d really appreciate it. ๐Ÿ™โœจ

I appreciate the art and animations you included in the game. I really liked the enemiesโ€™ sudden random movements—it made the game more challenging for me. The game mechanics have a lot of potential. Adding more types of enemies and animations could make it even more entertaining.

First off, we find it so cool that you included kids in your design process! You clearly spent a lot of time on this project, and we think it turned out great with an amazing gameloop. We played this game together for a long time (longest of any game so far) and competed against each other to see who was better! We also like the animations alot. If you do plan on continuing this game, we would appreciate if the enemies were different colors so they are more easily distinguishable from the background. Also co-op mode please? ๐Ÿ™
