Hey!! There aren't any error messages actually. It just looked like I was playing on itchio (essentially nothing popping up lol)
I was doing Lawrence's route and got his Romance Ending and once it brought me back to the title screen the achievement didn't trigger. I got an achievement for starting the game on the 8th of August so I think the problem started with the 13th's update because that's when another player reported issues as well.
I went to an old file and tried watching credits instead of skipping them in case that caused it to bug but it still didn't unlock. I started on a fresh save incase the update messed with existing save files and the achievement didn't pop on that save either. It's not a Lawrence issue as well because @InkuMiester on the Steam discussion board said they got 2 other romance endings and it didn't unlock. I tried verifying the files in case something corrupted and it told me 156 files couldn't verify and I tried the game again and it still wasn't unlocking.

Thank you so much for responding as well!! 🥹 I started playing this here on itchio back in around 2022 and LOVED it. I was so excited when I saw it on Steam!! 🥹I hope you bring your other games to Steam someday!! I didn't hesitate when I bought this game so I definitely wouldn't hesitate with the others lol.
This is probably not the right place to ask since we are discussing achievements being wonky but do you think you'll add achievements for the Beach DLC in the future? :0

Okay so I just tried getting the achievements for Lawrence! I tried the good ending (which was what I got prior to the update) and it wasn't unlocking still. I verified files again and it said 130 files patched but it still failed to unlock. I reinstalled the game as well and it didn't work. I used an old save and I went through the gallery to quickly get to his route. Also started a new save just in case a bug was left in an older save and it still failed.
I thought maybe the game assumed the achievement was triggered already so it wouldn't unlock so I tried the bad ending (which I hadn't done yet) and it still wouldn't unlock.
My copy is cursed LMAO 💀
