The first page reads like a Pratchett novel (which is great). Unfortunately it looses its momentum going further into mechanics and plot. The format doesn’t do it any favors, giving up a lot of space for a square instead of the DIN aspect ratio. There would’ve been place for a handdrawn map of the mansion somewhere in this.
Overall a totally functional oneshot with lots of space to improvise. I like the innkeeper a lot and would love to see such directions for a lot more villagers.
