This is an interesting interpretation of the theme!!
I really love the creativity and how well made your game is (I didn't see any bugs) except the obvious ones haha
I can see so much potential in this game, it is not made for my taste, but I think it is perfect for people who have the patience to decorate their houses in Sims. I just lack that ability.
But the premise caught me so much I just had to comment haha
THE WAND. POLLON, ALL THE OPTIONS, ALL THIS POWER??
Also I really love the images you provided as examples, really shows off the abilities of what you can make.
The luna moth is crazy good.
edit: are you experienced with real life sand art? The game just feels so right, it's hard to explain
Wow! Thank you for the feedback! I've never done sand art irl, but I did spend a lot of time playing in my own game once I got it running lol. I definitely a sims house decorator haha, but I realize such a game is not for everyone.
I'm glad it feels good! I really wanted to make sure the sand fell in a satisfying way. I spent a vast majority of the jam time fine-tuning the sand physics, I'd like to revisit this sometime after the jam and look into expanding the sand art capabilities (maybe add the ability to poke the sand or mix it up ).
Thank you for playing my game and leaving such wonderful comments!
Very fun little game!
Thanks for taking the time to play my game!
You nailed it! This feels just like something I'd play for hours online as a kid, sooo delightful
tysm! I'm glad to hear I got the vibes right, I had such a specific vision that I HAD to make my own UI elements (which tbh I don't normally do). Thanks for playing!
This is such a cool idea, great job!
Thank you! :)
Very fun and relaxing! i made this geometric moth :3
Yay! I love how it looks like a quilt, so pretty! Thank you for sharing!
Such a cool concept! Very relaxing to play, the physics effect allows you to make some very nice looking designs really easily. Great job with the UI!
Thanks, I'm glad the UI hit. I didn't have a ton of time to work on this jam, and I was frantically trying to put together my vision at the last minute ngl lol. Thanks for playing!
so nostalgic and beautiful! what a fun idea.
Thank youuu!
Wow, what an incredible, super-relaxing game.I love it! I can't wait to try a thousand different color combinations and create the most beautiful butterfly! And the music is so great, super relaxing. Yay! Thanks for sharing your moth and ty for taking the time to play my game :)
cool idea and nice execution! the music you choose is so calming.
Thank youuu!
I really loved the idea and the visuals.
The only thing I would have added is some visual feedback on the selected colour. I have accidentally switched colours way too many times hah.
same!
Thank you for playing my game. I appreciate the feedback and agree that would be nice. I ran out of time and ended up squeezing in all the UI last minute. If I come back to this after voting that will for sure be the first thing I add.
This gamw was really nostalgic for me. and the music is very nice. i like it
Thank you! I was really hoping to nail the aesthetic of old barbie games. I definitely spent a lot of time playing them when I was younger lol
I really liked the idea of colored sand, it reminded me of when I was a kid, playing with that. Really a cute idea !
Thank you!! I can't tell you how much I was just playing with the sand when I got it running. Almost didn't finish the rest of the game lmao
