dont walk in the purple, there are paths giving you ways around the purple and maybe 4 tiles that are unavoidable.
^ paths, just about every room is either really straightforward or has land paths you should be following, use the map to see all the available rooms and entrances.
use the easy mode
make sure youve gotten upgraded gear and such, craft better pots/use the refillable one
