Does anyone know how to fix this issue after downloading the android version?

I have followed the instruction from running the game, allowing file acces and copy pasting archive.rpa then after starting this error pops out. I can still play the game but it gets annoying especially when trying to adjust or save and load in the menu/settings

I still haven't found a solution to the problem, i just accepted my fate not being able to play this masterpiece 😭

I had this too, I don't quite remember the reason, but I fixed it one by one by asking Gemini about it

After opening the game once and allowing use of your documents you close the game. After this you have to place the archive.rpa file in the Documents/Renpy_saves/com.jestur.ripples/game folder.

After you've done this, start up ripples again and it should work!
