Wait how do i travel more im currently stuck in the lizardman temple and the village and i haven't been able to progress in a few days
Finish important main stories that are on the game in-guide, but mostly you need do the thieves tasks which is related to Northcrest.
By following that you'll unlock more missions and almost all the current map eventually which includes: Northcrest, Orcs camp, steppe and desert.
However i highly recommend you get the necklace that allows you to explore the caves first which it can be found with the lizards.
I'll put here also some spoilers:
You should have already unlock the problems with the tugs/thieves if you're already with the lizards which it can be unlock on the first village you visit.
By doing Jester's task you'll eventually will have to do Northcrest conspiracy, if you keep doing the thieves missions you'll eventually will unlock the steppe/plains and exploring this place you'll find the dwarfs which they're gonna eventually unlock you the desert.
If you explore Northcrest you'll activate the orc war which it also involves a few things on the swamp, by helping certain characters with the orc war you eventually will be able to go into o a cave that leads you to the orcs camp or mythshore.
If you help Harold with the rats you will be able to use his basement and find the junkyard and if in same cave you clean the path you'll find the jungle.
