Finished the whole game now, i wrote my final review under this.
I finished playing the roots section of the game and seriously it got me right in the feels, like ending of mass effect 3 after playing the trilogy level of feels. I honestly went into it blind (played the original first game), not even reading much of the description so it got me by surprise. Very emotionally moving and I have started playing the rehydrated section now. So far overall loving the game and can't wait to see all the kink stuff. (warning spoilers)
okay have finished playing the rehydrated section of the game, loved it. would love to know how i would go about finding the secrets as i barely get enough time to even play this. The art style is great and absolutely beautiful, awesome voice acting throughout it by the way. Would have enjoyed a bit more interacting with the characters in rehydration, it did seem to play through the days a little bit rushed and it seemed to move on from section to section of the game a bit too fast (especially after how it was more slow in roots), but understandable lots to show and do and not enough time. finding the perfect balance is never easy, in a visual novel.
I also would have wanted to see a bit more closure to roots as it was just such a dramatic end, like how it started before everything went wrong, the situation escalated rather rapidly, and i would have liked to see Piya go with Enora when she was brought to that void zone when she touched the relic as it kinda seems like she was left to "ya know, die alone". It just felt wrong to me and kind of depressing.
Also some scenes moved on when when i was trying to explore areas still and had no real way to go back and check without restarting the whole section. a few screen flickers where miss loaded images appeared and disappeared in milliseconds. That and the gallery images are very small and hard to see, their are many scenes i would like to look at again but in a full screen style.
But anyway those where my that was my only issues i had. Overall very great game, experience little to no bugs, great voice actors, really exciting scenes, great artwork and a good price for the time. Great work on this larger style visual novel/game and don't take anything negative to heart. Just my point of view, though maybe aim for a little less emotional damage maybe lol.
Also i see you left a hint at a continuation of the series there with Jer partially remembering something happened and the character Sin. Great ending, Cant wait to see what you do next as i will probably buy it as well.
I rate a 8 out of 10. (as of its current build when i wrote the review)
