Finally got around to playing this.

At first, I almost dismissed every single piece, particularly the textures and images, as AI generated; The many em-dashes in the in-game description certainly didn't help! Though after properly reading it and understanding the theme of the exhibition, that initial interpretation turned out to elevate the experience I had when viewing it with more proper understanding.

Even though I've never played the game portrayed, seeing it being captured and mangled like this reminded me of the increasingly accelerating degradation happening globally. You used to only see it in the old, but even the brand new has it now due to the quality, care and lack-of-love getting worse and worse...

Perhaps unintentionally, the guestbook not working and the weird bug that developed with Unity Explorer's Free Camera adds a meta-layer to the degradation portrayed lmao.

The requirement to modify the application implies that it is a core method of interacting with this, but besides the act of getting the exhibition to work I only saw a few additional things that the game didn't show me normally. Makes me think that there's more that I've missed, especially considering that favourite thing in the exhibition was seeing the in-game free camera 👁️
