I didn't think the combat was too hard. Seems pretty good honestly, boss fight was tough but it only took a few tries. Just gotta realize that lowering the main guy's health is going to spawn friends, so focus on killing the friends before hitting him more.
I agree with the other person that said the gender choice at the beginning is a little too obscured, I didn't realize the dodge/block choice was the gender choice until I came back and read through the comments.
