The writing was generally great but I really liked the concept of the hanged men, they felt really ethereal and uncanny.
Always nice to see another LaTeX user in the wild lol
Absolutely love the spellcasting rules for Traveller - use of the Endurance stat, rolling wounds at the end of the round, the ritual killings - all great. "Sorcery is in the world and must be hunted down" - love this too but needs a bit more detail on how.
Apart from that - cool setting in general, there are some inconsistencies in language (e,g, is it Spectre Dragons or Memory Metal Dragons?) and other aspects like the order in which concepts are introduced, that could do with a bit of refinement to make it easier to parse. I personally like a bit more clear direction in a module but appreciate there is a place for "here is the setting and some possible motivations, do as you will", and it works well for Traveller.
This entry would have benefitted of a layout giving it a bit of structure.
The universe this is set in comes out of the blue (perhaps it’S an established setting in the system this is written for?) and the amount of scifi-vocabulary and factions is a bit overwhelming.
I gather that the Hanged Men are the spirits of the dead, but this isn’t said on a very full first page, whereon the term is already used in an NPC.
OVerall this is an ambitious and well thought-out entry that needs love in the layout and structure departments :)
I really dig the patrons and the follow-up roll that adds complications, very cool. I don't know Traveller, but I assume Sorcery rules aren't in there which makes your add-on incredibly concise and neat. No small feat.
It's nice to see another typst enjoyer in the wild. I did all my layout in typst as well. I had seen Idraluna's typst work before, so when I saw their name in the credits then saw the document itself, I inspected the PDF to confirm my hunch. Good work!
This one is very cool! I love the addition of sorcery to Travller and how the setting justifies it. The patrons are fleshed out very well, and the additional complications that can arise within the already volatile situation are extremely fun, this would be a tense game to run but rewarding!
It took me a moment to parse the volume of text, but you made good use of the space!
Great weird science energy. These are the sort of modules that really make me want to try Traveller.
I also really like how you just went for it in terms of making the map, the cover etc. I feel like a lot of people with awesome writing and ideas are held back from making stuff because they think the visuals need to look a certain way. No! I want to see what everyone can cook up!
Awesome to see a Classic Traveller adventure in the mix here! The patron write-ups are great. The Inner Band and the planet’s own defenses both seem really strong, but knowing what motivated Travellers can accomplish with a few grenades, that’s probably correct ;)
I really like the way you handled the patrons here.
