I can help with the the demon code but in return, I would love some help with the puzzle box in the central room pls. I’m completely stuck.

Hint 1

The prisoner in the West Court says something about the number of devils.

Hint 2

There are 6 dials that can either be turned on or off.

Hint 3

Binary numbers use a base-2 number system that uses only two digits, 0 and 1, to represent information.​

Hint 4

Convert 36 to it's binary number, 100100. Turn the dials on​/off depending on where the 1/0 is positioned.

Solution

Dials 1 & 4 are switched on, while dials 2, 3, 5, and 6 are switched off.
