I can't play the game anymore and this msg appears everytime I open the application, does somebody knows how to fix it? I don't care if it's deleting my save 
You can try getting your save files and re-installing the game
(Save files are located in the game's folder, something like ...\Itch_Games\cabin-by-the-lake\CabinByTheLake-0.61d-pc\game\saves). If you take those out you can do a full reinstall of the game with no worries about loosing your progress (just remember to put them back when you're done).

Unfortunately none of those solutions worked, I even had to reset my PC recently and it didn't change anything, I still have this exact error msg.
I don't have my save anymore and I don't mind but I'd really like to be able to play this game again.
Do you have another idea of what can be done?
