Absolutely amazing game, night 1 had me scared of seeing any of the monsters but by night 7 killed the fathers son with a lot of lucky upgrades, healing and easy encounters. Gotta say I love the study mechanic at first all the enemies seem grotesque and terrifiyng but the more you study them the easier the fights become. You also learn that some fights are just not worth it and you just gotta dip.
Well said and I'm super excited to hear you enjoyed the game! 7 nights is actually a fantastic turnaround time to beat the first chapter imo. When I play it on a fresh install it takes me around 10 to 12 unless I unlock some crazy cursed omen like Plugged Pistol.
I'm happy to let you know we are updating the game soon with "Dice Rolls of Fate" on those event cutscenes, weapon tempering (to keep your favorite weapons useable) and weapon passive rerolls.
