I finally got a concept after banging my head against my desk since 11am in the morning. i came up with 2 originally and spent a good 2 hours making the first level. only to get regret for some reason realising how hard it would be to make 10 levels of this specific game. i hadn't even designed any of the enemy ai or anything. anyways I'm stressing about so much in life outside of game development, but I'm determined not to quit this goddamn jam. anyways I came up with one. Lots I thought of initially didn't link to the prompt, at least my original ones were hard to link to the prompt. its very specific, u almost have to do an imposter game. however after much decision making i came up with one. It will be hyper fast, a movement shooter, and have a variety of bullets that give a randomised effect. the game name "Reapers roulette - don't trust your ammo." I'm kind of satisfied however still scared by the ever daunting realisation that i have 2 days to give this a shot, as i have to leave to go on holiday in 3 days, have spent the first half day brain storming, and i still have to upload the game at the end which ive never done before. and I'm still not so happy. I mean I have to design all the bullets effects. make a luck randomiser. and do all these different things including complex enemy ai and such. however, I realised the true purpose of game jams. they are to learn. good luck guys have fun making your games and learning along the way"
