the trees and the buildings are beautiful the combat the spawner did not work so I was restarting the game to see how your sword charge works if you charge it and it did not kill them lol but just clicking and attacking normally did. I would say some camera shake with the swing would do it justice and your buildings are awesome, but you can walk through them they need colliders lol regardless it was beautiful for what it is

You also used git plugin for godot? piece of shit, right?) We also struggled with it, it constantly threw merge errors at us.

Graphics look good, but there is no gameplay and you can easily fall under the map.

Developer

We tried it, I couldn't get it to work how I wanted. I think the main issue was that developers were modifying the same scene files, which are hard to review and deconflict. That on top of some branching conflicts and failed rebases were the nail in the coffin haha... we still wanted to show off what we were able to get done. The latest build we have internally has a lot more enemies on the map. We will see the project through to some completed state outside of this game jam. We learned so much in the process.

Also, Windows and Linux editing the same files is kind of a cluster... would recommend setting up your git to optimize for this.

Thanks for your feedback!

The visual and animation are amazing!

The gameplay really lacks feedback though, I was really wondering wether I was hitting the robots or not before I manage to kill them. While in theme, having to charge all of your attacks feels more sluggish than an engaging tradeoff between speed and power.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! We were a little ambitious, but ran into some issues when bringing all the mechanics together. We plan to clean it up and release a newer version of the game once we have all gotten some rest. Cheers!

I couldn’t find any robots after the first batch that wanders near me– but the graphics are beautiful and I liked the music too!

Developer

Yeah, we hit a lot of problems when merging the various branches and didnt quite get the extra spawners and logic in there, haha. Thanks you for playing!
