So far I really like the aesthetic but I can't deny it does bother me that the game default assumes your MC is a male. It takes me out of the "self insert" role with that, because I simply can't imagine people would assume someone with a blatantly female voice would be a man. It would be nice if that could be adjusted in a future update to allow for some simple immersion. I will say, the King Baldwin inspiration is something I enjoy greatly, but I only play romance games with self insert mechanics so when it's lacking it takes a bit of the fun out for me.
