Ah a fellow duck creator! I liked the quacking and the alert system for the next bull charge. I didn't think I'd need those at first and as it got harder I quickly changed my mind. Nice game, I agree a bit faster powerscaling could have been better or maybe target the player a little more when it's slower but it definitely got there in time. I think I made it 173
171 first try :)
The sound is great, both the SFX and the cheeky background music. It's unfortunate it doesn't loop, especially since the intended experience is to be able to achieve (or aim for) 150 points, which is far before the music ends.
I found that the curve was a bit rough, I felt like I nearly didn't move for 100 seconds, maybe only once or twice per 10 seconds. Then came a little bit more frequently, and after 150 I suddenly got multiple bulls rushing in a row so you really have to dodge and weave. I'd probably start at a higher count and/or increase at a higher rate until what is currently at the 150-160ish mark and then slow down the increase. At some point the game becomes genuinely challenging and a mistake becomes more inevitable even with slower increases.
But that's just on my playtest experience. Definitely have more people try it if you would like to tune the curve haha :D
Personal best after 3 tries: 182s. I loved the quacking sound on each move :) Simple but engaging idea, I liked that there was no spot to stay in longer than few bulls, so it required almost constant moving (especially when bulls became faster). Addition of winning a crown was a nice achievement. I had fun :)
Duck
I'm embarrassed about how long I played this in thumbnail mode because I didn't realize I could fullscreen it
Cute! Not terribly difficult, but the last twenty or so seconds required a bit of hopping around.
I agree with the comment that below mine
Simple and cute :)
The music and sfx are so funny i love it. I spent 99% of my time standing still though, I think it would be better if the difficulty ramped up faster, and there were more enemy types.
Nice music
the music needs looping other than that the duck sound is awesome. gameplay wise I would recommend making it a little more difficult. if you make the spawning to be around the player randomly so it is not completely random you could have random ones just not all the time. I spent the majority of the game in the center not moving so that is something you could improve maybe
Duck sound!! 10/10
Fun and simple. would have liked to use wasd instead of arrow keys.
