You're not meant to use AI at all, as the point is to improve your weak skills, not simply to pump something out.
But you would only be punished (if that's the right word) if the AI usage can be detected.
No one's going to decompile your code to confirm if it has AI aid or not.
It's more about following the spirit of the jam than anything else (with the idea that if others are using AI to aid them, you shouldn't either. and instead collaborate with others to fill those gaps where you are weak)
