This is something Im attempting to fix now! Ive had a handful of people with lower ram run into memory problems during the Piya sequence and Im pretty sure I know why it'll just take a bit!
I have 4GB of RAM and yes, the error occurs as soon as I start the first day. With the update, it improved, but it still fails in that sequence, only later on.
I just read that it needs at least 8GB of RAM... I'm fucked... Good
Thanks for trying to help anyway, but if it's just my computer, then I guess I'll just have to miss out—oh well. I really loved what I was able to play, though; great job.
Yeah 4 gb is too low, very sorry :( It definitely is also probably my fault with the coding, Im sure there are more efficient ways to do what I've done to make the game, so hopefully future projects will be easier to access! I wouldn't blame you for asking for a refund of the game via Steam if possible, given you didnt know!
Nah, the mistake was mine for not checking beforehand, and I was still able to play some of it; even though the first part ran with a bit of lag, I could play it comfortably and I loved it. Asking for a refund just because of the part I can't play would be stupid.
If I ever get a better laptop or a PC, I'll be able to play it properly—thanks for the support anyway.
