This "Soul Lock" bug appeared in version 3.4.0, and it was quite buggy at the time causing this problem to occur frequently. Even in the recent 3.5.2 update, although they partially fixed it the issue hasn't been completely resolved, so sometimes the Soul in game can still get stuck and unresponsive to finger movements.
