Nice unique game!
I found it somewhat difficult to know what options to choose - I only managed to get two of the moods coloured. Is it that the bigger the dots = the more impact it has? (good or bad?) Maybe a short line in the tutorial could've helped with that.
Dialogue, art, music, and sound effects were excellent though! Great job team!

Yep bigger dots have more impact ( for good or bad reasons ) but yeah we need improve the "how to play" section ;)

Wow, awesome job on the SFX + art + writing! That Lady Goblin is hard to please haha.

Mechanics reminded me of Reigns (which I love), with the added goal of getting each stat to a certain threshold making things unique and challenging.

The intro deserves so much praise for audio, too. Amazing.

Developer

Thank you for your kinds words.

Yeah, and we cut a lot of phrases and charges. balancing the game in this state is/was a nightmare :(

This was a really unique and clever take on the theme,  and I appreciate the amount of writing that went into this!

Well done :)

Thank you!

I like the idea of putting everything together at the end as a little story summary. So… goblins can write? 👀 XD

Developer(+1)

oh no a plot hole! D: hahahaha

Awesome art style, great soundtrack(s!), cool idea, very lovely game. The goblin yell at the start bring me to tears of joy, thank you for this entry! I wish I could get something else than just the bad game over ending, I don't even know if it's possible to win! Really would like to see a post-jam version of this game, very cool!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! yeah, it's not the best "how to" in the world but if you manage to reach all the moods ( this can be achieved by enough distance from the other moods ) you get the other ending ;)
You can check if you have achieved that mood if the icon is colored at the top

Submitted(+1)

Oh yeah I got close to that, but I kept getting game overs. I thought the only way to lose was by maxxing one of the moods out,I was under the impression I had to keep all moods as low as possible, whoops! I'll give it another try later! When I was the sword being red I was like that's bad, when I realized the comedy mask was blue I understood the color wasn't related to the mood being critically high! A proper tutorial would really elevate it, but given the amount of systems and assets in there, I know it couldn't be a priority then!

Developer

hehehe we fixed the last audio problem 1 hour before the deadline, but yeah you are right ;)
