Thank you, will try again soon! We had an issue where some of the ingredients from the first time we made a sandwich stayed on the plate. It didn't affect the first two sandwiches, but maybe that was a factor.

Oh that can happen rarely, when you drop an item on the table instead of interacting with the table, but you are right it shouldn’t affect the outcome. If it doesn’t work again in case you try again please let me know. Also if something gets stuck on the table again you should be able to jump on the table to grab it.
