are you playing on joiplay or something if not maybe redownload the game?

I'm playing on the most recent version 0.86 on my laptop so Windows i download it and it gets sent to winrar where I extract it and play and I havent tried to add anything to the game ive found where the file saves are and had to completely remove both unfortunately because they dont go away on their own even if you delete every instance of PokemonEE gotta delete them first and yourselves I got it working now they both were somehow corrupted
I think I may have found the issue as to why it's "corrupts" if the game or any Pokémon essentials made game is not in the downloads section of file explorer it will brick putting them back in will fix them
my guess is unlike rpgm game that have all the files in the game poke-essentials put them on your computer and only read them if the game is in the downloads
