That was really good! I loved the story beats and the gameplay was really satisfying. It was a lot of fun seeing the energy production rise and rise and being able to destroy the cells faster and faster. The story is a also quite interesting and a bit depressing. Also, having translations and even translations for the voice lines in a game jam game is really commendable! Great work!
Thank you so much! I am glad you liked it! :)
I enjoyed the concept and must say I was very impressed with the amount of assets you put into this in two days, the memories sell the vibe pretty well - respect for the voiceovers, I love those!
The balancing probably needs revisit to slow down the game a bit, so I hope you will come back to it and expand it after the jam ;)
Thank you so much!
Yeah, I put (far too) much time into the assets, which is why the balancing is not thr best. But rather a game jam being too easy than too complicated, right? :DD
Let's see whether I come back to it. Balancing always needs more time than just a few minutes :DD
Great to see that you are back! I played Mind the Glitch one year ago and again I'm amazed by the cool unique concepts you always come up with and what you manage to do in so little time!
Amazing job! Really cool game!
Thank you sooo much! :)
I totally agree with this! I love Mind the Glitch, and also loved this one. The memories made the difference for me. They are sad and happy at the same time, and after finding them all, everything made sense in the end.
very cool idea, i loved it. balancing was a bit weird. at one point i could just spam buying very upgrade. there is no time for balancing in 48 hours though, i know ^^
Thank you!
Yes... balancing was just impossible xD But I am glad it can be played through though :)
I had a great time playing the game, really like the idea and the sounds are on point! The ARD button easteregg is also great ;)
Can't wait to sign my own SODaLG contract :D
Haha, what ending did you get? Maybe signing the contract won't be possible ;DD Glad you liked it :)
Got the one where I broke out of bounds. Somehow I couldn't get the last upgrade...
Very creative dialogs and I liked the idea how you told the story. I think I somehow managed to overflow my currency - at one point I had an absurd large amount. :P
Haha, thanks!
Was the number just "high" or actually negative? Did not have the time to balance how much energy is produced with upgrades etc. But it's also supposed to be quite easy so no one would need more thana few minutes to finish the game :D Glad you liked thr story! :)
Really cool interpretation of the theme! I especially liked the whole idea of the artificial afterlife and uncovering the memories.
The music was also really nice and fit the atmosphere super well. Very impressive what you managed to put together for a jam!
Thank you so much! I am also surprised that I managed to finish this one. Was really tough, but I like it a lot :)
Nice game and nice storytelling. The balancing might be a bit off, but for a game jam it is great to experience the whole game. Great job!
Thank you so much! Yes, balancing is the hardest here imo as well!
Wow! What a cool game. The storytelling and gameplay worked so well together. Voice acting was a nice treat when I first uncovered a memory! Early on I received a large spike in energy that quickly pushed my resources to 1M and 1B+. Slowing that down could help maintain the flow of the story and impact of upgrade decisions.
Thank you so much!
Yes, the game needs a bit balancing, just ran out of time to do so :D Still glad you liked it :)
It's hard to believe you did all this solo in such a short amount of time 0.0 I really like the comic at the start and the dialogue with the robot they were funny :D The memories seemed a bit random in regard to the story with the robot. I would've loved to hear more about the company :) For the gameplay itself, at some point there was so much energy that the upgrades felt kind of... irrelevant xD But that's just a question of balancing. The game concept is very cool and the story could be very intriguing :3
Thank you so much !
Yeah...the balancing could be improved, but this is due to the time constraints:D Glad my hubby took the little one, I worked on this game more than 35 hours xDD
Regarding the memories I actually wanted to show things about the life, not the company. Because those also hint, that the women really misses her actual life and her actual body :) But I get that some more information of the company would also be very nice to have! :D Could not make too many, just because of the time as well xD
So you sacrificed your sleep for this xD Hope you didn't have to wake up early today lol
Yeah that makes sense! :D For the time given you made the best out of it! ^.^
I got used to being sleep deprived having a 16 month old... xDD
But yeah, I sacrificed all time I had and it was a blast :D
Cooles Spiel!! Du schaffst es sehr gut, eine Atmosphäre aufzubauen und ich möchte unbedingt weiterkommen, um die Erinnerungen zu finden! :D Auch vom Theme her eine schöne Idee, artificial minds / Existenz nach dem Tod. :D
Dankeschön! :)
