The aiming system is weird, I liked it at first but after a while I just hated it. Kevin Mcleod music? Loved it. I ended up #8 on the leaderboard. I found that the game was laggier than it should be. I guess you used the platformer starter but ended up adding too much in a scene it was a bit laggy for me. What really is outstanding from this game is the "theme" usage. Not only you picked an obvious starter, but delivered as a theme also, you start "as a starter" and the game evolves. That would be a 5/5 theme for me. Oh! you're the dev from Rapid Recoil. I always struggle with your games dude XD keep it up! You always deliver something special.
Yeah, the lag is from the water that most people barely even interact with. Guess I should've optimized it but basically, I used water physics, but I forgot to disable it before the cinematic camera thing, so it is constantly calculating physics and stuff. Nonetheless Thanks for the feedback, and yes, I am the dev from rapid recoil surprised you remembered that.
カメラが引く演出は良いですね。
銃を手に入れた後の敵が強かったです。
悔しかったので再走して1:10:816で1位を獲得しました。

Very good game. I loved a lot the concept, probably the best game for now After the First in the jam
This game felt so satisfying to play. The gun felt very powerful. Every part felt so well thought out. Hearing the enemy subtly drop in the water and then the camera zooming out was so cool. I also love that you added a leaderboard as this makes the game much more repayable when you want to try to get the best time. Overall, it was a great game.
Firstly, the concept is very good, I know it's a two day limit so it would have been hard to take it further but if this was expanded with more starters from more of gdevelop's list then it would have been wonderful. I have a couple of issues though. The optimization feels a bit off. I don't know whether it's just my PC but it lowered to frame rate a lot sometimes. Also, most people are complaning about the enemy rain which is not fair(as a tip) ,I learned how to cheese it though by going back to a hole where enemies cannot reach you. Solid backbone though(with the game juice and all).
the game is so smooth!!!! its fantastic how its good! but the ennemy rain is too strong, you respawn and die instantly without being able to do anything. also checkpoints would be a great addition
Thanks for the feedback. Also, checkpoints do technically exist, their not visible but you should respawn back at a certain point unless you run out of lives when they are implemented; then you fully restart. And for the enemy raining I honestly just ran out of time. Again thanks for playing my game!
The movement and platforming elements that it has work well, I like the idea of adding adding little things the more the player advances on the map, it gives them a reason to keep going to see whats the next thing, I enjoyed this one. Good Job!!
