I was able to finish the game now (twice even, looking for one missing piece of evidence, to no avail - I thought I clicked on everything, including the inventory, but maybe the order mattered somewhere?) A fun mystery, efficient writing and some fascinating historical knowledge, set in a place I knew very little about before, but am fascinated with now. Great game, thank you for making and sharing it!
Except for the odd typo, there was just one point of friction for me, and that was a classic case of a dialog option not giving me the full impression of what my character was going to do - and therefore feeling some alienation at the surprising (in this case fraudulent) consequences. But who said I should be fully on board with everything a fictional player character does, especially in a game of this scope. And I’m sure others will find it amusing!
