My only problem now is that I know way more about their sex life than I'd like. In fact, any information that's more than absolutely nothing is already too much.
Fair point, and thanks for the honest feedback. I write this more like a book than a typical VN — other characters have their own lives, exes, and relationships that can exist independently of the MC. I get that "realistic world" can mean more background detail than some players want. I'll think about adding a skip option for people who'd rather avoid some scenes.
In the real world I don't usually watch others fuck. I assume there are another 7,000,000,000 people in the game world whose lives we know nothing about. So it's perfectly realistic to ignore the sex lives of the few who appear in the game and aren't the MC and his LIs.
On the other hand, I play immersively, so I prefer that all the action be done by the MC with the LIs.
I wasn't building this around any specific audience or genre label — I'm not even that familiar with all the terminology people use here. I got into this after learning graphics; making a project like this covers a lot of different skills I wanted to practice.
Early on, the MC goes through some rough events that kickstart his own evolution (though I don't spend much time on internal reflection for him). Lina has a similar arc, but more subtle — she's working her way toward a decision she'd never have made before.
I'm just going to finish the story the way I see it. If it's not for everyone, that's fine. Thanks for reading this far, at least.
