This is my team's first game jam (first time making a game actually) and none of us really know how to make music. We will try making our own music but just in case, would it be against the rules to use music we didn't make if we credited where we got it from?

Hi, I don't know if it's a bit late—I just found out about this jam. Could you give me some information about your project to see if I can help with the music? I'll be keeping an eye out.

Hello, sorry but we aren't looking for anyone to add to our group. I'm sure you'll find someone though as a ton of people have been looking for a composer! Good luck!

thank you so much for your time! no problem at all :3 good luck with your project!

I would imagine if you share the source and credit the song and artist, it might be ok but there is copyright issues if you want to sell the game with that music, or brackeys said in the rules it could be used in a video so they likely wouldn't add or show something with copyright music

Okay, that makes sense. Thanks so much for the answer!

Does non-copyright music count or stock music?
