I knew I wouldn't be the only one with a game called Recharge. Anyway, the game was fun, though I think it would be greatly improved by a more cohesive art style. The monitors giving you a side eye when they're on low is so funny.

Thanks for playing! Yes one of our game jammers (Mark) drew the monitors with the faces himself. I think its a nice touch! We used a few CC0 assets from different sources for this jam, I am hoping to do some more of the artwork myself for future jams or work with an artist on our team to improve the artwork/style next time around.

Very original take on the theme. Had lots of fun playing it!! n.n

(small side comment: the music did not continue playing for me when I replayed the game)

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for taking the time to play our game!

Got a best of 11. Gameplay was pretty straightforward, had a few times where I got greedy and tried to juice up two at once (only to drain my battery super quick and lose).

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah we came up with the core loop, I had some ideas to add somepre depth to the game, like perhaps some spawning batteries so you could charge in other ways, but the time crunch is always real for these jams.
