Hello devs, I ran into a softlock at the beginning of Act 2 on the itch.io version. Since old saves are incompatible with the new update, I started a fresh Act 2 game. The issue is that the game didn't carry over the flag showing that I already obtained the broom in Act 1.
Whenever I try to leave my room at night, I get the message saying I need a "proper broom" or a "transgression potion". I tried interacting with Filch during the day to see if I could re-trigger the event, but Marcus refuses to speak with him. I also tried forcing the Ren'Py developer console to manually add the item, but since the game files are compiled into "scripts.rpa", I can't enable it. Any help or workaround would be highly appreciated!
